Led by TV presenters Greg Foot and Maddie Moate, we will announce which projects our special judges have picked as their favourites, and we’ll congratulate all the young creators, volunteers, educators, and parents that make Coolest Projects so inspirational.

The 2021 online showcase participants hail from homes in 47 countries, including India, Indonesia, Ireland, Australia, Palestine, UK, and the USA. The showcase gallery is bursting with an astounding 1,168 projects from 1,385 young tech inventors. What an incredible, global community!
Special judges are picking their favourite projects
While you explore all the projects in our showcase gallery, our special judges are busy picking out their own favourites. We’ve been lucky enough to enlist James Whelton, Melissa Pickering, Colin Furze, and Fig O’Reilly to choose the projects they like best among all the entries. At the special online celebration, you’ll find out who has been chosen.
