How to make a wearable microprocessor with Stephen Howell and Charis

Stephen Howell is the Academic Program Manager for Microsoft Ireland.
In this role he engages lecturers and students of all disciplines and levels with tech talks and curriculum advice. Stephen is a passionate advocate of CoderDojo and Computational Thinking both in and outside the classroom. He developed Kinect 2 Scratch and is a PhD candidate in SMARTLab, UCD on Computational Thinking education with kinaesthetic learning.

At this years Coolest Projects International, Stephen along with his daughter Charis will demonstrate how young people attending Coolest Projects can:

  • build wearables with BBC Micro:bits and Microsoft MakeCode
  • program AI bots in Minecraft
  • write Kinect games played with your body and more!
