I arrived at DCU on Saturday at 11 am. I had an idea of what to expect after being lucky enough to be a judge the year before. As I entered the building, I was surprised by the number of people queuing up. The Queue was starting to form from early Saturday morning, the kids were all keen to get their projects in place for the big day.I met up with the other judges and we were given our t-shirts which said “I Judge Cool”.
The t-shirts were cooler and slightly evolved from the year before. I was happy to see some of the judges from last year and some of the candidates I had placed into roles over the years. Noel the founder of the Coolest Projects was rallying the troops putting the last touches in place. Calm as ever Noel and the team made sure everything was running like clock work.
