Coolest Projects USA is a world-leading showcase for young innovators who make stuff with technology. If you’re under 18, and making something with technology for fun, to solve a problem, or as a creative outlet, then we want you to come out and share your projects with us! Coolest Projects is excited to be returning to the Discovery Cube Museum Orange County in Santa Ana, California on the Saturday, March 23, 2019.

Coolest Projects USA is open to all young people 18 and under. Register your project to participate in the showcase in Southern California together with hundreds of other young tech creators from around the country. All projects are welcome, in any programming language or using whatever hardware you have to hand, and whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned expert. You can work as an individual or as part of a team of up to five.
Coolest Projects events are open to all levels of ability; the focus is on creativity, participation, and most of all on having fun! Entries can win awards in different categories, from games and mobile apps to visual programming. You can read about the categories here.
The project registration form is simple, and you should complete it with the adult accompanying you to the event. Successful applicants will be notified in February 2019.
Attend Coolest Projects USA to see young people from all over America exhibit their designs and inventions. Coolest Projects USA is free to attend for the general public, giving more people the opportunity to become inspired to create with technology. Our goal is to have projects from all over North America at the showcase. Thanks to the amazing support of our sponsors, we’re offering travel stipends to help you offset the costs associated with travel to the event. In order to be eligible for a travel stipend, you must be present and showcasing a project at Coolest Projects USA on March 23, 2019. The stipend application is open until 11:59pm PT on February 15, 2019 — apply now!
Workshops, speaker series, showcases and awards will all be scheduled throughout the day with lots of fun activities for young attendees to engage with. A full schedule of activities on the day will be updated closer to the event.
