Introducing a New Coolest Projects International Category: 3D Design & animation

We are introducing a new project category for all our coders at Coolest Projects International 2019: 3D Design & Animation.

From creators of amazing models of real or virtual objects to 3D animations, this category is for anyone who is making a project involving 3D design or modelling.

Over the past few years, we’ve noticed our Coolest Projects participants becoming increasingly interested in 3D design and animation projects, for example created in Blender or Unity (non-game designs).

And with the help of our 3D design–focused tutorials, which help you create anything from an interactive snow scene to a 3D party monkey, young people from coding clubs and Dojos all over the world have been flexing their 3D design skills.

Now this new category at Coolest Projects International will allow young creators to earn special recognition for their projects experimenting in 3D design & animation.

This broadens the range of categories currently available, which already covered visual and advanced programming, hardware hacks, games, websites, and mobile apps! You can read more about them here.

“This will give young people the chance to explore yet another exciting area of coding.” – Giustina Mizzoni, Executive Director of Coder Dojo

“We are delighted to announce the introduction of this new category for all our Coolest Projects participants,” says Giustina Mizzoni, Executive Director of the CoderDojo Foundation.

“This will give young people the chance to explore yet another exciting area of coding, building further on the digital skills they are being taught in Code Clubs and Dojos everywhere.”
